This is very interesting. We were just discussing this in my sociology class.
@BehindtheCurtain: Hispanics (Mexicans) are apart of the Caucasian race which is probably the reason it couldn't be reported accurately. Thanks for the information. Unfortunately, this is an example of classism and all to often racism.

Tying in welfare costs to foreign aid to Israel taints your arguments. Undertones of hate and bigotry cross all lines. What credibility has an anti-Semetic, anti-racist?

You state that the data for the Hispanic population can't be reported accurately since they are mixed with the whites then you go on to use those statistics for whites as a basis for your arguments. What??

Just another example of using data to support an agenda.

Hey, I found your blog through your comments on the blogpost "Dr. Phil Takes on the Fatties."

Thank you for pointing out that inequalities have caused the need for welfare. It's a shame that so many people are ignorant and equate race with laziness, stupidity — and so much more racism. Also, we tend to demonize people on welfare. It's horrible. I hope this teacher told the kids they were wrong.
