I can tell you're in rejection of the idea of racial superiority, as we all should be, but the supposition that race truly does not exist is dangerous. Certainly, race should not exist as it does, as you describe it. However, to deny the real existence of such a profound physical reality is dangerous, specifically because of the points you mention. We must all be aware of each other's race, to safeguard the steps that have been taken thus far to achieve an equality between the races. Race as it exists today is not something that can be litigated, illegalized, or abolished as you speak of it. It will take a constant willful action to keep the intolerance of racial discrimination alive and well in the hearts and minds of as many people as possible. This will ensure that whenever, wherever racial discrimination occurs, the innocent bystanders who witness the event can be quick to identify the offender, and attempt to change their behavior. Only after many years of constant watch and patient rebuking, and teaching can this be completely eradicated in our world. Someday, race will be a subject only for history books, but today is not that day.
